Welcome back!!! Phone and email messages will be returned starting Monday, June 1.

As you can imagine our front desk reception may very well be returning numerous emails and voicemail messages. We appreciate your patience as it may take longer than normal for us to return messages.

Our treatment times have been modified to accommodate the numerous safety measures that have been put in place. We assure you we are doing everything we can to provide you with the same amazing care you have always had but it may be more challenging to schedule an appointment.

If you are an acute patient or a new patient and you are having a difficult time making an appointment please email or call us. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

We appreciate your patience and encourage you to schedule your appointments online and in advance to ensure you get your preferred times.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

COVID PATIENT CARE PROTOCOL

As we begin to see restrictions gradually lifted in the various provinces across Canada, we wanted to share the many additional measures we have taken to protect our patients and our team members as we begin to offer in – person care at our centre.

We have put a number of enhanced protocols in place to ensure we can provide in – person care in a S.A.F.E.R. way as we operate carefully in the current environment.

S: SCREENING of all patients and all team members

  • All patients entering the centre are screened prior to entering the clinic by completing a questionnaire and touchless temperature screening.
  • All patients are required to use hand sanitizer immediately before and after their appointment.
  • All team members are screened each day prior to entering the centre by completing a questionnaire and touchless temperature screening.

A: ADJUSTING our centre to allow social distancing

  • We are making every effort possible to limit the number of patients in our reception area. All care provided for our patients will be by appointment only.
  • Please call us when you arrive in the parking lot and wait in your car until your appointment time.
  • Patient appointment times are staggered to enable social distancing, screening and time for cleaning treatment areas/equipment.
  • Our waiting and treatment areas have been rearranged to maintain 2m physical distancing with signage and floor decals as reminders.
  • To accommodate physical spacing for patients and team members our operating hours may be expanded as needed.

F: FOCUSED EFFORTS on enhanced cleaning and disinfecting our centre

  • Plexiglass screen guards have been installed.
  • All equipment including massage, chiropodist, chiropractic tables, the activator will be disinfected between each patient using hospital grade disinfectant.
  • All high touch surfaces will be cleaned in between each patient appointment in all treatment areas.
  • Work stations and all office equipment will be sanitized before and after use or as needed throughout the work day, including high touch surfaces such as the POS machine, phone, computer, printer, pens, door handles between appointments.
  • Hand washing will occur between each patient.
  • Please remove your shoes for chiropractic patients: Part of the adjusting procedure, as you are aware may require your doctor to check your leg lengths. You are welcome to bring your own slippers. During this time we will not be providing slippers.
  • Tap the computer at a distance with your chiropractic health card. They are designed to work at a distance so often they can be read through your wallet without touching the reader at all.

E: EFFECTIVE usage of Personal Protective Equipment

  • Every patient is required to enter the centre wearing something covering their nose and mouth. It can be a homemade mask, scarf or a medical mask
  • All team members are provided with masks to be worn at all times
  • Other PPE will be in place in accordance with the direction provided by Provincial Public Health Authorities and regulatory Colleges
  • Education to clinicians and patients on proper use of PPE including putting on and removing procedures.
  • How to wash hands
  • How to remove a mask
  • How to remove gloves
  • How to use hand sanitizer

R: REACHING the best possible outcomes for our patients

Rest assured, as we navigate this pandemic, we are doing so in alignment with the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Canadian Public Health Agency, Provincial Public Health Authorities and the Regulatory Colleges.

These procedures and protocols are being created because the safety of our practitioners, staff and patients continue to be a priority. It is certainly all new to us and these procedures will be put in place and may be subject to change in the coming days and weeks.

Thank you for your cooperation and we are looking forward to providing you with a safe environment to receive the much needed care you are eager to receive. Some things might be a little different, but we want you to know we are here for you as we always have been, and we will continue to help you heal and stay healthy during these stressful times!
